Christian Schloyer (b.1976 in Erlangen) lives in Nuremberg. He is a text and sound artist focusing on poetry, poetry performance and electro-acoustic improvisation. His greatest passion is for cross-genre synaesthesic work with poetic texts. He has also written children’s books and a fantasy trilogy.
While studying Philosophy and German Literature in Erlangen, he initiated the Wortwerk open text workshop. He is the honorary head of LiteraturDing e.V., is responsible for the Nuremberg Poetry Night and was a member of the falschtechst-schlachtfest artists’ collective.
