Fiston Mwanza Mujila (b. 1981 in Lubumbashi, Dem. Rep. Congo) lives in Graz, where he was City Writer in 2009-2010. He writes poetry, prose and plays and teaches African Literature at the University of Graz. Tram 83 is his first novel, for which he has already received many prizes, including the International Literature Prize – Haus der Kulturen der Welt 2017. “Fiston Mwanza Mujila’s debut novel will sweep you off your feet!” (Rolling Stone).
