The international competition is accompanied by 14 programmes containing 140 animated, feature and experimental films as well as documentaries, which facilitate an insight into the diversity of the poetry film scene. Dance, music and performance underline the committed, liberating moment of poetry. Dancers break out of the isolation with unleashed movement and between graves people dance like crazy. Many contributions target our galloping self-extermination and the destruction of the environment. Some poem lines are sewn together to make an item of clothing – upcycling instead of fast fashion. Other thematic focuses are love, urbanism as well as transience and its reflection in nature.
