Thought through, rough and direct - Poetry & Blues
Performance
Performance
featuring Michael Fehr CHE writer | Manuel Troller CHE
guitarist and composer
Sung more than spoken, Michael Fehr’s poems tell of the whole range of human emotions. His spontaneous ideas and articulations meet the sounds of the Blues, at times existentially forceful, at times fragile and vulnerable, soft and quiet. The sound of Michael Fehr’s world of language – he has already been described as the Swiss Tom Waits – is given musical expression in a collaboration with guitarist Manuel Troller: thought through, rough and direct. These two Swiss artists open up a variety of musical and poetic possibilities.
