Manuel Troller

Manuel Troller (c) Camillo Paravicini

Manuel Troller (born in Lucerne in 1986), is a guitarist and composer and works in various musical areas. Since 2006 he has been playing uncompromising music between free improvisation, hardcore jazz, modern compositions and visceral rock with his band Schnellertollermeier, but he is just at home with pop. His explorations of the limits of his instrument using preparations, extended techniques, sound manipulation and a fine feel for the moment have made him one of Switzerland’s most sought-after guitarists. Manuel Troller was taught by such musicians as Frank Möbus, Christy Doran and Fred Frith at the Lucerne Music Academy.
