Poetry Talk: Lisa Robertson – an urgent line to begin the future
Lection & Talk
Lisa Robertson (poet, Kanada) in conversation with Daniela Seel (poet and publisher, Berlin)
For Lisa Robertson (b. 1961 in Canada) thought is a form of political action that takes place within the boundaries of our language. Her interests are so many and varied and the richness of her language is so astounding that the formation of synapses in the brains of her readers accelerates by leaps and bounds. She writes with equal knowledge of pornography and Baroque sentence structure and ornamentation. Her influences range from Lucretius and Virgil’s Eclogues to the Young Marble Giants and Patti Smith. Daniela Seel will be asking Lisa Robertson about her life and work.
Interpreting will be available for the event.
