Poetry Talk: Christian Prigent – writing with knives
Lection & Talk
Christian Prigent (writer, France) in conversation with Christian Filips (writer and translator, Germany) and Aurélie Maurin (literary scholar and translator, Germany and France)
Christian Prigent is searching in his poems for a “living language that articulates its particularity in opposition to any collectivisation of experience, of the unconscious or of silence”. Since the 1960s he has been – witty, experimental and provocative – part of the dynamic avant-garde of French literature. Christian Filips and Aurélie Maurin, who have translated his work, will be reading from his work with him and asking Prigent about poetry and poetics.
Interpreting will be available for the event.
With the kind support of The German Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt) and ECHOO Conference Interpreting
