Heinz Hermanns
Heinz Hermanns (born 1958 in Duisburg) has been the Director of the international short film festival interfilm Berlin and Artistic Director of the Almagro International Film Festival in Spain for 39 years. He was a co-founder of the Eiszeit cinema, the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival, the U-Bahn short film festival Going Underground and the Short Visions short film festival in Ningbo, China. He is a Visiting Professor for Short Film Dramaturgy at the SCAU in Guangzhou, China and gives lectures on short film dramaturgy all over the world.
Cia Rinne
Cia Rinne (born 1973 in Göteborg), is a writer who lives and works near Berlin. She makes public appearances with readings, performances and exhibitions featuring multi-lingual, minimalist and concrete poetry. Her publications in Germany include zaroum/notes for soloists/l'usage du mot (kookbooks 2017) and I am very miserable about sentences (sync 2019), and has undertaken documentary projects in collaboration with Joakim Eskildsen including Die Romareisen (Steidl, Göttingen 2007) about the history and situation of the Roma in seven different countries. She wrote the libretto for the opera Liebestod by Henrik Strindberg, Louise Beck and Sofia Jernberg and it has also been published with the title Trial & Eros (Virkelig, Copenhagen 2019). Cia Rinne was awarded the Prix Bernard Heidsieck–Centre Pompidou in 2019.
Heiko Strunk
Heiko Strunk (born 1966) studied Literature, Philosophy and Politics in Marburg and Berlin. He is project leader of the poetry platform Lyrikline, is on the staff of the Haus für Poesie and the Poesiefestival Berlin, and since 2002 has been a member of the Programme Committee for the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival.
Eloisa Suárez
Eloísa Suárez works in the Programme Section for Film and Music in the Goethe-Institute in Madrid. She was the Short Film Curator for SHORT SHOTS Madrid and for the Spanish Film Festival in Berlin. As part of the Germany Year in Mexico she was responsible for various film and music projects. She was also responsible for the network of alternative programme cinemas and culture centres at PROCINE (Mexico City).
Thomas Zandegiacomo Del Bel
Thomas Zandegiacomo Del Bel (born 1968) studied German, Romance Studies and Media and Communications Science in Mannheim. He works as a research fellow at the ZKM | Zentrum für Kunst und Medien (Centre for Art and Media) in Karlsruhe and at the Deutschen Kinemathek (German Cinema Library) in Berlin. He has been Artistic Director of the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival since 2006.
