e.poesie – Electronic music meets poetry
With Anne-James Chaton (France) and Alva Noto (Germany), Yolanda Castaño and Tender a man (Spain), Bradien + Eduard Escoffet (Spain)
Electronic music meets poetry: e.poesie is dedicated to the relationships between word and music, between language, rhythm, sound and tone and their various forms of meaning.
French poet Anne-James Chaton meets Alva Noto from Germany, founder of the influential label Raster-Noton and musical persona of visual artist Carsten Nicolai. Yolanda Castaño, Isaac Garabatos and Jesús Andrés from Galicia are the poetry band Tender a man. And Eduard Escoffet from Barcelona will be appearing with the musicians from Bradien. There will be poetry in French, Catalan, Galician, English and Spanish. All three formations have been working together intensively for years. Beyond national languages and genre boundaries they sound out the space between voice and electronics, poetry and music.
The texts will be available in German translation.
With the kind support of Acción Cultural Española (AC/E), Instituto Cervantes, Institut Ramon Llull
Curated by: Eduard Escoffet. Project leader: Alexander Gumz
