Salvador Vidal

The musician Salvador Vidal (b. 1952 Antella, Spain) studied clarinet in Valencia, Madrid, Nice and Vichy, among others with Guy Deplus. He was a member of various chamber orchestras with a repertoire covering all eras as well as a co-initiator of ensembles that breathed new life into the musical panorama in Spain, among them Eco-Grupo Instrumental, Nutar, Grupo Circulo and the Boehm Clarinet Quartet. He is also a sought-after studio musician and has taken part in recordings for radio stations in Spain, France and Switzerland. Salvador Vidal also works for theatre, film and ballet. As a soloist, he has recorded works by Luis de Pablo with the Orquesta Ciudad de Valladolid and, together with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the concert for clarinet and orchestra by Albert Llanas. He joined the Polyfonias Poetry Project in 2005.
