Katarzyna Fetlińska, born in 1991 in Ciechanów, Poland, is a poet and is studying English Studies at the University of Warsaw. In 2011 she received an award as part of the project ‘Połów’ (Fishing). Her first book of poetry Glossolailia appeared in 2012 from Biuro Literackie. Fetlińska lives in Warsaw. In her poems she creates poetic images which seem clear at first sight, only to fracture them in unexpected places with a hint of Surrealism and subtly overturn them She plays with Baroque motifs, which generate an uncanny, almost mystical atmosphere in conjunction with modern digital life.
