Jennifer Atwood (*1981 in London/United Kingdom) began her formal dance training at Classe Dance Academy and Ecole Classique, Sydney. She then completed a bachelor of dance at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia. Jennifer has worked with artists and companies such as BalletLab, Anna Smith, Liquid Skin, Jason Pitt, Shaun Parker, Bondi Ballet, Paulina Quinteros Company and the Australian Opera Company. Most recently she has performed with Red-i, in Nadine MacLeans new piece ‘Automata’ for Resolution, London. With a keen interest in dance film she collaborated and performed in the work ‘Unfed’ by Jason Lam, which was shown at the Zebra Poetry Film Festival and Interfilm, Berlin, the Antipodean Festival in St Tropez, as well as other national and international festival and screenings. It was recently screened on the ABC's Dance on Screen special.
