Fortner Anderson

Fortner Anderson (*USA), who has been living in Montreal since 1976, is an experimental poet and in fact one of the first spoken word poets. For many years, he has been producing a television series about performing poetry. Anderson works regularly with music and has already produced several poetry CDs with musicians. He is known for his strong stage presence and performance as well as his a cappella readings. Anderson was co-founder of the wiredonwords.com label and he hosts a radio show about poetry and the spoken word. Published works include: “Poetry Nation” (1998),”Short Fuse anthology” (2002).
