ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival 2019

Germany-wide Competition: Yearned-For Places [Repetition]

Film

The best poetry films from Germany. More than 500 entries have been submitted for the 2019 ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival. A programme commission has nominated 20 of them for the competition. This year's three-person international jury will be awarding the ZEBRA Prize for the Best Poetry Film, donated by the Haus für Poesie, the Goethe Film Prize, donated by the Goethe-Institut, the Prize for the Best Film for Tolerance, donated by the Federal Foreign Office, and the Ritter Sport Film Prize, donated by Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co. KG.

The programme Yearned-For Places invites to fantasy castles made of paper, dangerous rapids, cities with noisy traffic. A cinematic journey to hidden places and most yearning desires.

The poems are available in German.
