Science and Science Fiction
Lection & Talk
with Aase Berg (author, Stockholm) | Oswald Egger (author, Vienna) | Hosted by Asmus Trautsch (author, Berlin)
The first event of the series Wissen der Dichtung part II is set in the future, between poetry and science. Two poets whose works oscillate between science and science fiction meet.
In his poems, Oswald Egger (born in 1963 in Tscherms, South Tyrol) is roaming through nature dispersing in a biological-fantastic taxonomy or doing basic research on the correlation between poetry and mathematics. Aase Berg's (born in 1967) poetry combines science fiction, dystopia, horror and trash with physical laws of the creation of earth.
Aase Berg and Oswald Egger will be reading poems and talking about the future of poetry – that might as well be the future of science – with Asmus Trautsch.
Swedish-German interpreting will be available for this event.
The event was sponsored by Stiftung Preußische Seehandlung and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden and is presented with the kind support of ECHOO Konferenzdolmetschen.
