Jasmine Kainy

Jasmine Kainy was born in San Francisco, California, in 1968, but grew up mostly in Tel-Aviv, Israel. She started as a radio and print journalist in Tel Aviv, and in 1989 moved to California and studied Radio & Television at SFSU. After graduating with honors she moved back to Tel Aviv and has been working as a director for a wide range of TV channels ever since. In 2012 her first poetry films came out as part of collaboration with the poet Ido Yoav. All came out on a DVD alongside Mr. Yoav’s poetry book. In addition, she teaches at Hebrew University, IDC Herzliya and “Hasifa” School of Media Arts.

Erik Lindner

Born in The Hague (Den Haag), The Netherlands in 1968. He started to perform his poems in 1984 and debuted in 1996 with “Tramontane (Perdu)”. De Bezige Bij published four more collections of poetry and his first novel “Naar Whitebridge” that came out in 2013. In January 2018 “Zog (Sog)” saw the light of day, his sixth book of poetry. Lindner works as a freelance writer and editor in Amsterdam and is founder of Terras, a magazine for international literature. In 2012, Lindner was stipendiate of the Berlin Artist in residence programme of the D.A.A.D. “Nach Akedia”, a selection of his poems translated to German by Rosemarie Still, was published in 2013.

Guido Naschert

Born 1969 in Münster. As a board member of the Literary Society of Thuringia e.V. in Weimar, he is organizing and presenting readings of contemporary literature. For several years he is dedicated to the connection between poetry and film with particular passion: together with the artist Aline Helmcke he is editor of the Poetryfilm channel / Poetryfilm magazine since 2014; both are also curators of the international Weimar Poetry Film Award at the Bauhaus University's short film festival backup (since 2016); and he is a jury member of the Central German project lab / p 2 u. 3 – poetry in motion (Ostpol e.V., DLL, Leipzig).

Sabrina Janesch

Born 1985 in Gifhorn, studied creative writing and cultural journalism in Hildesheim and polonistics in Krakow. In 2009 she was the first city writer of Gdansk. For her first novel "Katzenberge" (2010), Sabrina Janesch was awarded the Mara Cassens Prize for Best Debut and the Anna Seghers Prize. In 2017 she was awarded the Annette von Droste Hülshoff Prize for her fourth novel "The Golden City". She lives with her family in Münster.

Rainer Komers

Born 1944 in Guben. Lives in Berlin and Mülheim an der Ruhr. Worked at the Student Filmclub Bonn; teaching position for screen printing and film studies at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, master student. Guest student of photography at the University of Essen. Film and camera projects in Alaska, Bosnia, Ecuador, France, India, Japan, Yemen, Latvia, Lithuania, Montana, Poland, Russia. His films are presented at festivals all over the world.

Merle Radtke

Art historian, curator and author. She has been director of the Kunsthalle Münster since July 2018. Previously she worked as a freelance curator for the Hamburger
Kunsthalle and the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart she has also curated several programmes for various Hamburg cinemas in the past. Her work focuses on the practice and theory of the internet, (post-)digital art practice, simulation, feminism as well as film and video.
