Jörg Albrecht

Jörg Albrecht c_gezett

Jörg Albrecht (born in 1981 in Bonn), grew up in Dortmund and now lives in Berlin. He studied Comparative Literature, German and History in Bochum and Vienna (2001-2006), and Scenic Writing in the Forum Text of uniT Graz (2008-2010). Albrecht writes prose, essays, radio plays and texts for theatre and performance. His most recent publications are the novels Anarchie in Ruhrstadt (Wallstein Verlag 2014) and Der Kotti (Be.bra-Verlag 2015).

Thomas Arzt

Thomas Arzt (born in 1983 in Schlierbach, Upper Austria) lives in Vienna. He studied Theatre, Film and Media Studies at the University of Vienna and writes poetry, prose, essays, radio plays and stage plays. In the 2010-11 Season Arzt worked as in-house author in the Vienna Schauspielhaus. He has been awarded the Author’s Prize at the Heidelberg Stückemarkt, the Playwright’s Fellowship of the City of Vienna and the Thomas Bernhard Fellowship at the Linz Landestheater.

Sandra Gugic

Sandra Gugic (born in 1976 in Vienna, Austria) studied at the Vienna University of Allied Art and the German Literature Institute in Leipzig. She has worked as an assistant for theatre productions in the independent scene and for the Vienna Burgtheater, and later as a graphic designer for agencies and magazines. Gugic has published prose, poetry and essays and has developed works for theatre and film. In 2016 she received the Reinhard Priessnitz Prize for her debut novel Astronauten (C.H. Beck 2015).

Thomas Köck

Thomas Köck (born in 1986 in Steyr, Upper Austria) is a writer, film-maker and theatre producer. He studied Philosophy in Vienna and at the Freie Universität Berlin and Scenic Writing and Film at the University of the Arts in Berlin. He was invited to show his documentary project on the Lebanese civil war at the Berlinale Talents and nominated for the Bosch Foundation Film Promotion Prize. Köck conceives event series in Vienna, Berlin and Mannheim. He has been an in-house author at the Mannheim Nationaltheater and his awards include the Else Lasker-Schüler Prize (2015) and the Kleist Promotion Prize (2016).

Gerhild Steinbuch

Gerhild Steinbuch (born in 1983 in Mödling, Austria) lives in Berlin. Sie studied Scenic Writing in Graz and Dramaturgy at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. Steinbuch writes essays, prose and theatre texts, and works in the Freundliche Mitte Collective and as a freelance dramaturge. In 2014 she co-wrote You’re not the same, Batman! with Jörg Albrecht for the steirischer herbst, Graz.
