studied media arts at the Bauhaus University in Weimar and has focused on documentary films and series as a freelance writer, director and editor. Since 2022 she has been an editorial director at Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk. Among other things, she is responsible for the short film magazine “unicato”, in which, in addition to short cinematic works, people from the film industry are interviewed on topic-specific issues of current affairs. She lives with her family in Berlin.

born in 1976 in Novara, Italy, is a poet, translator, editor, and literary scholar. Since 2003, he has published five poetry collections.
“La grande nevicata” (Donzelli 2023) is his most recent collection. His poetry has been awarded, among others, with the “Tirinnanzi Prize” (2020) and
translated into several languages. With Jan Wagner, he has edited the anthology “Grand Tour – Travels through Young European Poetry” (Hanser
2019). He lives in Vienna.

is a filmmaker living in Berlin. Her films combine documentary and fiction, public and personal spaces in an essayistic poetic form. She also works as
a film editor and in film education – inter alia from 2016–20 at German University in Cairo (GUC), since 2022 at HfG Offenbach and from autumn
2023 as Professor at Merz Akademie Stuttgart. Her latest films include “Hefezeit” (documentary in development, Gerd Ruge Fellowship 2022),
“Sparrows and Strolls” (D 2021) and “Weltrand I-III” (D 2014).

studied German, Scandinavian and Romance philology in Göttingen and Lund (Sweden) and earned her doctorate in Modern German Literature at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel. Subsequently, she conceived and established the translation support program Litrix.de on behalf of the German Federal Cultural Foundation. Since 2007, she has headed the Litrix program for the international mediation of current German-language literature in the Berlin capital office of the Goethe-Institut and is currently focusing on German-Italian literary exchange.

(*1974 in Berlin) is editor and organizer for the poesiefestival berlin and KOOK e.V., artistic director (poetry) of the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival, co-founder of the poetry night "Part of the Movement" in Leipzig and Frankfurt/Main, the long literature and music night HAM.LIT in Hamburg and the literature festival "Wortgarten" in the Uckermark. For his poems he received, among others, the Clemens Brentano Prize and was a fellow of the Berlin Cultural Senate, the Casa Baldi (Olevano Romano) and the Villa Aurora (Los Angeles). Most recently, his poetry collection "barbaren erwarten" was published by kookbooks.

born 1958 in Duisburg, has for 39 years been the Director of the interfilm Berlin international short film festival and Artistic Director of the Almagro International Film Festival in Spain. He is a co-founder of the Eiszeit cinema, the Zebra Poetry Film Festival, the U-Bahn short film festival “Going Underground” and the Short Visions short film festival in Ningbo, China. Hermanns is a Visiting Professor of Short Film Dramaturgy at the SCAU in Guangzhou, China, and lectures on short film dramaturgy all over the world.

Anna Hetzer

born in 1986, lives in Berlin. She is a poet, essayist, translator, performer, and co-edited a volume of Queer Poetry.  Member of the PEN Berlin. Her latest publications include "Pandoras Playbox" (Verlagshaus Berlin 2022) and "Schaum" (Sukultur 2022). Her poems have been translated into several languages. She was awarded the Wolfgang-Weyrauch-Prize for Poetry (2021) and the Basler Lyrikpreis (2023).

born in 1968, and studied German Literature, Romance Literature and Media and Communication Studies in Mannheim. He is a research assistant at the ZKM Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe and the Deutsche Kinemathek in Berlin. He has been Artistic Director of the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival since 2006.
