Lection & Talk

Maud Vanhauwaert (writer, Belgium) und K. Michel (writer, Netherlands) in conversation with Astrid Kaminski (journalist, Berlin)

Where do the boundaries lie between poems and other forms of writing and writing as a performative act? Maud Vanhauwaert (b. 1984) is one of the group of young language artists for whom poetry is also performance. K. Michel (b. 1958), feared for his cunning simplicity, writes his way from a poetry of gesture to a poetry of things.

Interpreting will be available for the event.

The German-Dutch VERSschmuggel translation workshop is a joint project of the Literaturwerkstatt Berlin, the Netherlands Foundation for Literature and the Flemish Literature Fund with the kind assistance of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Berlin and the General Delegation of the Government of Flanders in Germany
