Two of the German language’s most eccentric musical formations close out the poesiefestival berlin:
With The Schwarzenbach, the author and actually-not-a-singer Dietmar Dath meets the electronica-improvisation-ghosts of the Kammerflimmer Kollektif. In this meeting, grooving/experimental sounds with lyrics emerge, moving fleet-footedly between discourse-pop and spoken word.
Hans Unstern is not only regarded as one of the most literary figures of the German-language pop scene since the publication of his first book. With every record he invents himself anew as an art figure, and pulls away from every static definition. No sooner than he has struck up a dance, he changes the key.
An evening between the lyric and lyrics, between avant-garde and rock ’n’ roll.
