Today’s literary Ukraine is, in the words of Serhiy Zhadan, “a country in which the post-socialist transformation went wrong, where society slid back into a kind of natural state, where the lilac sunsets shimmer breathtakingly, because environmental destruction has conjured up its own kind of natural beauty”, until violence broke out...

The DJ Collective “Russendisko” is: Vladimir Kaminer, Moscow-born, in the meantime renowned across Europe for his book “Russendisko”, as well as Yuriy Gurzhy, born in Kharkhiv, DJ, musician, member of the band “Rotfront” (Berlin). They step on stage together with the Ukrainian DJ Constantin Mishukov, aka DJ-Mishukoff, who played in Maidan Square during the revolution.
