A poetry show for children will bring the day to a close with poems by the children as well as by poets participating in the poesiefestival berlin. Lars-Arvid Brischke, Ulrike Draesner, Monika Rinck and Jan Wagner have written poems especially for children and will be presenting their verses. The highlight of the evening will be the poet, musician and childrens’ author Jutta Richter, who involves children in her readings. The singer and sound poet Sainkho Namtchylak from Tuva (autonomous republic in the southern part of the Asian half of Russia) will show what unusual sounds the human voice is capable of. Gauner will compere the event, in which children will experience what can be done with language and with their own voices.
The day is under the patronage of Thomas Krüger, President of the Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk.
With kind support of the DEUTSCHE LITERATURFONDS e.V.. In cooperation with LesArt, the Berlin Center for childrens literature and the Berlin childrens libraries.
