The topic of the Poetry Film Club is the view of the borders of Europe from inside and outside. We will be showing a selection of the best poetry films from the 2016 ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival Münster | Berlin. The programme includes moving images set to poems by Ghayath Almadhoun, W.H. Auden, Mahmoud Darwish, Carla Faesler and Marie Silkeberg.
The ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival, founded in 2002 by the Haus für Poesie, formerly the Literaturwerkstatt Berlin, is to date still the largest platform for short films based on poems.
