Poetry Talk: Charles Bernstein "In song-drenched light, cradled fold"
Talk
Charles Bernstein USA author, in conversation with Norbert Lange DEU author, translator
Charles Bernstein (b. 1950 in New York) is an icon and guiding spirit of modern American contemporary poetry. His poetry draws on many sources including early Romanticism, historical avant-gardes, Wittgenstein’s language philosophy and French Neo-Structuralism, among others.
L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E Magazine, which he edited with Bruch Andrews from 1978 to 1981, is still thought of as one of the most vital sources of discussion for avant-garde poets and those who aspire to be one.
English-German interpreting will be available for this event.
Poetry Talk Charles Bernstein is made possible with the kind support of the Rhythmicalizer Research Group and by ECHOO Konferenzdolmetschen.
