POETRY IN CONVERSATION: Agustín Fernández Mallo – This is how kings are born
Lection & Talk
With Agustín Fernández Mallo, author Spain and Timo Berger, translator Germany
Agustín Fernández Mallo is a physicist, novelist and poet. He belongs to the “Nocilla” movement, which derives its name from Fernández Mallo's trilogy of novels, a punk song, and a nougat cream. His poetry – described as “afterpop” or “zapping literature” – is at once hypnotic, enigmatic, and deeply unsettling. Fernández Mallo will speak about his work with his translator, Timo Berger.
The event will be interpreted Spanish-to-German.
Project leaders: Alexander Gumz, Matthias Kniep
POETRY IN CONVERSATION: Águstin Fernández Mallo – This is how kings are born is supported by the Instituto Cervantes.
