Poets’ evening # 4: Andreas Altmann Strengthening of the Light

Each year a poet is given carte blanche to put together an evening of poetry in the Poets’ evening at the poesiefestival berlin. This year it is the turn of poet Andreas Altmann (born 1963 in Hainichen), who focuses on poets born in the 1950s and 60s whose work he has long been familiar with. Following the readings, the audience will be able to decide using voting slips who is to receive the Poets’ Evening Prize of 2000 euros and a sculpture by the artist Dirk Motzkus. Accordeonist Cathrin Pfeifer will be accompanying the evening with her playing.
